    Default Firewall

Since there's no firewall protection built into the iPhone, it seems like it could be easily compromised by hackers, especially when 3rd party software is involved.

I found a firewall app for the iphone for download from here.

    http://www.insanelyme.com/Site/iPhone.html

It's a little off the beaten track so I thought I would post it here and someone might be able to figure out how to fix some of the problems I'm having with it.

It works when I put it into my libexe folder and run it from there.

However, I can't seem to get the plist settings to work or anything.

I can't make any exceptions for SSH, etc.

Is there anyone who's gotten this working and knows how to set it up?

Here's the page from mod my iphone where they give less-than-adequate installation instructions that don't work:

    It will run through mobilfinder.

However, it doesn't seem to interface with the settings .plist file in order to give it exceptions.

Hey, I developed (compiled) this app for the iPhone. It worked on my iPhone and I'll see what I can do to fix it. I lost the source because of a partition error
