Nice try with the copyright idea, but there's this little thing called DRM that Apple is simply in love with, which completely eliminates that problem. There is no reason why we shouldn't be able to at least send and receive pics. Even if they limited it to only the camera roll. And contacts too, that is a good feature, and it would be extremely simple to implement.

I think that the iPhone's entire future is 100% dependent on how this SDK thing turns out. If Apple plays this card right, the iPhone will become the next iPod, and everyone, from your 12 year old niece to your 80 year old grandma will have one. I have a feeling, though, that they are going to fuck this up badly and all we will get is some expensive apps from big name developers. I swear on my life that if they do not do the right thing with this SDK, I am never buying another iPhone again.

Wow, what was I talking about? Bluetooth? A little off track, I see, :p.

Sorry that was a bit off topic but they are gonna screw up the SDK

    Arrow good and bad news

Bea managed to port successfully bluelight to Leopard this week. A version for download will be available next week.

I even got funding from a pool of desperate Iphone owner friends to get the effort going.

With the new version we have tried to transfer the framework and get the OBEX server to function. We still had no success.

We will keep working on the new version of bluelight. Will be back when we have some feedbacks.

Any success with Bluez or OpenObex?
