Hey guys, just to remind you:

Do not execute unknown apps, especially when it is known there is no BT file transfer for iPhone.

No since the iPhone does run a version of OS X, I could see someone trying to port the profiles from a mac, which includes support for OBEX, A2DP, etc. That would be the easy part.

Even if they can accomplish that, they would then need to set up the API's to allow other apps to use the profiles which is even more difficult because unless the iPhone firmware already supports this and just doesn't have it enabled, they would then have rewrite core logic of how the firmware functions.

Long story short, I just don't think it's going to be possible unless it comes from Apple. Or unless there is someone out there with incredible hacking skills and a whole lot of time on their hands.
Sorry, they were not porting software from another device to the iPhone. Instead, they were using an opensource software that is built around the same bluetooth chipset that's inside the iPhone. I merely stated that the software is used on other platforms to express that it does work and should work on the iPhone.

I agree with the general consensus that this project has been abandoned, however.
