Any Daemon running app will drain tha battery man.The real question how much faster. Both Caterpillar and other RIPDEV projects do use a daemon to check the licence that is running all the time so expect it to do so.Also SMS notify does that and i suspect swirlyMMS too.So choose your software wisely

I haven't noticed that much of a battery dropage since catapillar 1.1 and 1.2, but most note as i have battery percentage hack installed and will not update properly, sometimes at 100% then after 2 hours usage drops to 81%.

Unlike before would show real time % by minute or so

Seemed to slightly slow down the phone too. Too bad they don't simply release the reminder feature as a seperate and cheaper product. It's all I want to use. In fact, why not release all features as seperate options? Likely to earn more that way.

i think its a rubbish app, the concept is good but when it crashes your phone and their is no warning that you cant even uninstall it of a 1.1.1 its just rubbish..

if it cant be unistalled then dont allow users to try it and freeze their phone up

It sure does, as hell for that matter, but what it does the best is giving people headaches...

Restore and... stay away from that app. ;-)
