Exclamation [Camera][SOLVED] roll problem: another weird behavior after using ZiPhone on 1.1.3

Ever since I upgraded my iPhone to 1.1.3 with iTunes, and later used ZiPhone to free it, I've been experiencing several weird issues with my iPhone.

The new one is related to the camera: whenever I take a picture it won't appear in the camera roll and if I try to use iPhone to get, it goes on an infinite loop saying "Loading Pictures".

Please notice I restored my Iphone after the upgrade using an itunes saved backup, maybe that's the origin of these issues I've been having... what do you think?

Having the same problem- I think that most files need to have their permissions changed when you restore from backup but I don't know which files to change and to what... :/

I fixed it deleting the contents of private/var/mobile/Media/DCIM

Of course, you will loose any previous pictures in the Camera Roll so you better back that folder up first.

Do not need to delete anything : just change the permissions of DCIM from 0700 to O755, and you'll be fine with keeping all your previous pictures !!! And the Camera will work just fine.

BTW, quite a few folders in mobile need that kind of permissions : I just changed them from 0700 to 0755 : one never knows, and I don't think there is any harm to that!!!

    Enjoy!

Set it to 0777. Mine was 0755 too from the start but once I set it to 0777, works fine.
