Default [BossTools] Fonts move went wrong, how do I move the fonts back?

K so I just tried to move the fonts, when it was done boss tool said I had 80mb of free space, I taught it was all good , so I go to run installer and it crashes to springboard, tried a couple times same thing.

so im thinking prolly just need a reboot, so I reboot and I get the infinite spinning circle.

I still got access to the file system with Iphonebrowser. I can see the system/libray/fonts is not empty, but they might just be caterpillar fonts...

where exactly does boss tool move the font to?

there must be a way to reverse it tough , i can get in with ssh aswell.

i`d hate to restore, i got some important stuff in the notes, calendar , sms , hate to loose all that again...

Same thing happened to me but with the apps. iTuens saves a backup of your phone and after jb I set up the phone as the one previously connected and it restored my calendar, no contacts though

I had the same problem. After looking with iphone PcSuite at the directory, I found the problem: I guess Bosstool moved the fonts to the bigger disk and created a link. With this link it made a second directory Fonts under Fonts and the iphone didn't find the fonts anymore.
So moving the font-files and the cache directory back to the main Fonts directory solved the problem

Font-files should be under /System/Library/Fonts/.. and not under /System/Library/Fonts/Fonts/... and the Cache-directory-files under /System/Library/Fonts/Cache/...

You can use ssh to create the symbolic link from /System/Library/Fonts/ to the place BossTools has moved them.

    Code:
    ln -s /the/path/where/the/fonts/folder/is/now /System/Library/Fonts
or move them back to their original place.

    Code:
    cp -pr /the/path/where/the/fonts/folder/is/now /System/Library/Fonts

    Hello XianLi,

I am wondering how to ssh to the iPhone if it's not even turning on. I am getting the apple with the spinning circle on the screen. How can I proceed to move the Fonts back to the original place in order for the phone to work again. I prefer to fix without a restore.

    Thanks in advance,
    Rds.
