    Default [App Req] New Calendar

The default calendar from Apple is way too basic and lack of flexibility. I used to be a palm user and was using Datebook app...it was a superb app w great interface and ease of use...its like a killer app...Can someone (or company) help to build something similar or better than the default calendar?

What features do you miss on the current calender?

    iPhone (OTB 1.1.1 / Currently 3.1)
    Unlock, activation, jailbreak: PwnageTool 3.1
    City Fido, Vancouver

The feature I miss most is the handling of participants for meetings (including inviting to meetings & accepting and denying of meetings via email, similar to how it is possible with Outlook / Lotus Notes...)

Another thing where I don't really understand why it is missing is a ToDo List application (including sync with my desktop ToDos in Outlook / Lotus Notes).

-the flexibility to change the default reminder (currently set to None)...also, the list of reminder timing is pretty limited, maybe it should allow user to enter a number (in minutes) to set the reminder

-assigning icon to the appointment and the icon shown in the month view (tis feature is very handy as it allows u to have an instant glance from the month view wats your appointment/event in any particular day)

-making an appointment floating..i.e it will always display on TODAY's view (even created last week)

One thing that would be nice is if there was an option to show appointments for today and tomorrow on the lock screen. You should be able to check the lock screen for the time and upcoming appointments without having to unlock the phone and open the calendar app.

For that, there's already a separate thread with a request and some comments; imho even someone trying something...
