    Default [App] iBrickr and ringtones..?

Well, I installed iBrickr so I could upload some of my mp3's as ringtones, but to my dismay, it's not working! i tried with several different under 30 second long mp3's but none seem to appear on my phone! I'm hoping I'm not the only person that has or had this problem. Anyone want to point me in the right direction?

P.S- Google came up with nothing!

Try installing the app "SendSong" on your iPhone.

    Open it..

    ..Select a song
    ..Set As Ringtone.

    ...Call yourself and dance.

It only has a 'send to ringtones' option, I did it but it doesn't show up on my ringtones list! Oh well, I'll try again tommorow, thanks for trying!

    Hi guys,

New to the forum and have been doing a lot of reading, but now have a few questions.

What i want to do is put ringtones on my phone using iBrickr. I've watched a video (hxxp://www.i4u.com/article11028.html) on the process but I need to clarify a few things.

My iphone is a US version unlocked for UK, in the video the process involves "restore".

Do i do this step without the iphone connected, as i don't want to brick the phone and lock it.

    Thanks in advance

    Sanj

Just rename the extension from mp3 to mp4. Open cyberduck drap and drop whatever
song that you want into /Library/Ringtones .

Better yet, you can use garage band to edit you songs before you put them in your phone.

i used ibrickr, but the songs never appeared on my ifone lol

so i used the MeCCa guide to doing the ringtones, and it worked out really well. just put the mecca where need be, rename file (after converted to aac with itunes) to ringtone_"filename" .m4r ... make sure theres a space between .m4r and the name of song.

    ps, theres no quotes

found a simple way. sendsong allows you to set the mp3s as ringtones
