    J2ME is a terrible language, it has a limited API, and I doubt we will see a J2ME port anytime soon, simply because the iphone can do sooo much better.

    maybe it could do much better but now it can't run even those small J2ME programs everyone is using...

    IIRC the J2ME apps have to be somewhat suited to your HIDs of your device...

    You'd need to mimic a smaller screen and make softbuttons just on the emulator? it would be crappy imho... what apps do you need? maybe others will think your request is useful, but personally i've never used a j2me app that I liked and used more than 2 or 3 times...
