true, but live is a good starting place, and i mention it mainly because of its interface. So many times when i've been djing with it i ve wanted to trigger the clips be touching the screen instead of clicking. Its just a step toward making computer music more tactile again

Doesn't seem like theres much interest here (or any actually). There's a guy on modmyiphone who's working on an MPC500 app, thats about the only audio-related iPhone development I've found. He said he his interest was triggering loops, etc. via MPC on the phone, so if he was interested in expanding to MIDI control, then you've got a simple MPC MIDI controller for Live right there.

There should be plenty of MIDI over Bluetooth stuff to work off of with all the Wiimote music stuff thats been developed. Also found a guy who wrote a MIDI over Bluetooth receiver app to work with a controller app he wrote for Palm.
