    @jenae123

    iBlacklist is a paid software. Once you buy a license you will receive the activation key.
    Further restores or updates done on your device wipe all previous user data, so you can reuse the same activation.
    This key, despite as described by our "friend" above your post, can be replaced by a new one. Just get in contact with support@iblacklist.com.br and send the replacement confirmation.
    Please check www.iblacklist.com.br for all the details and the user manual.

    I'm releasing another FREE new software called ABGrouper. I already had Notifier, and now ABGrouper available to everyone. BigBoss shall put it online today since i spoke to him a few minutes ago.

    Description: This application lets you Create, Manage and Delete GROUPS of contacts in your AddressBook. Additionally, it ables you to export Groups of contacts as lists for iBlacklist software and backup/restore iBlacklist database. A new section will appear if you have iBlacklist installed on your device.

    Here are some screenshots.

    For new iphone you need buy a new key, the key is registered to phone serial
    number (hardware)
    If is the same iphone (hardware) the serial number is the same and the
    activation key works but you you have a new iphone the old key will dont
    work becouse is a diferent serial (hardware) and you need buy a new key

    thanks

    When i emailed them letting them know my story was going to be hitting the forums they replied with a smiley face.

    Shows the attitude of the makers. They're smug. Good luck dealing with them if you have a problem.
    I am currently in a similar situation after Apple exchanged my iPhone due to a defective battery. I received the exact same email when I requested a new activation key (purchased iBlacklist 12/08 exchanged iPhone 2/09). I've decided to dispute the credit card charge if the iBlacklist team isn't able to do the right thing and extend a simple courtesy to a paying customer.

    "PLEASE BE SURE YOU HAVE MOBILE SUBSTRATE PROPERLY WORKING ON YOUR DEVICE"

    I installed iblacklist through Cydia before coming here to the forums. Everything seems to work.

    Do I have to uninstall and install Mobile Substrate and then install iblacklist to get it working properly?

    Thanks for any help

    Hi mokeiko

    iBlacklist package depends on mobilesubstrate. Thus before install iBlacklist, Cydia installs mobilesubstrate, if you still did not have it.
    So, there's no need to uninstall iBlacklist now to install mobilesubstrate.

    Oh, sorry for not post a changelog yet.
    Thank you for the support friend!!!

    Here's a changelog:

    * First and most important. A whitelist won't stop the search on further whitelists, but will trigger the whitelist mode, where the system will search on further active whitelists until it finds the number to accept, or it will block the number by the end of the active whitelists;

    * For blacklists, you can individually enable the AutoReply message for texts or sms or both (nothing new here), AND you can write your own text for blocked calls AND for blocked messages as different texts, so the system will send different texts for different events from that individual contact (this is new here);

    * Now you can set if you would like the system to wait 15 minutes to send another autoreply to the just blocked caller, or if you want the system to send the message after each blocked event. (in both CallSettings -> AutoReply SMS and SMSSetings -> AutoReply SMS). The global enable switch policy is still the same from the previous version, so for blacklists, you need to switch on the AutoReply for each contact AND switch ON the global Enable switch.

    * An option to block texts found inside the SMS text was added, so the system will perform it's actions if it finds the text you informed (check SMSSettings);

    * There is an option to block restricted ID messages, just like restricted ID callers on CallSettings;

    * Introduces the Answer Haptic (Extras), where the phone will vibrate when you are originating a call and the other person accept it (your outgoing call is answered), so you don't need to have your phone on your ear for the whole time while waiting for it to be answered.

    * Introduces the Startup Report (Extras) , where iBlacklist system will place a report on lockscreen or springboard screen (this one only when the system is loaded) or both screens, where you will find many useful informations like if the system is ON/OFF, if you are registered or not, wich lists are active at that moment you are seeing it (it even checks the scheduler to see if the list is not disabled by it), number of blocked calls and blocked messages, and a launch button, where you can launch iBlacklist interface even from your lockscreen.

    * Bug fixes of all kinds (major and minor).

    * realsms support added, so realsms won't crash anymore. You need to turn OFF the Extras->PrivacySMS in order to have their quickreply working.

    I'm also working with mySMS/QuickSMS developer and hope to bring the 2.3-1 version with full compatibility with those application soon.

    Thanks !!!

    Default BUG? SMS-Text sent from blacklisted number appears on lockscreen

    Hi spektro,

    first and foremost let me thank you for this great app which saved me from running around with two phones ... ;-)

    I've been using your app for several weeks now and it has been working properly until I added a specific contact. When receiving an SMS from this contact, the text is displayed in full length on my lock screen or my main menu without any further info concerning the contacts number or name. At the bottom appears a green close button. After this button is pressed the lockscreen or menu reappears and the message is gone. It doesn't show up in the iPhones SMSApp (right, cause the message should be blocked) it doesn't appear in iBlacklists history either (wrong, cause 'save to history' option is set). I doubt that this is due to misconfiguration, because all other blocked contacts behave as they should.

    This screen appears when receiving am SMS while the phone is up and running and showing the main menu

    This screen appears, when receiving an SMS while the phone is locked and in sleeping mode

    I tried to reinstall the app, deleted the contact from contacts and from general blacklist, added a blacklist entry by number, upgraded to version 2.3 - didn't fix it.

    Can you give me a hint how to get rid of this 'feature', since this contacts messages beeing exposed to my homies could cause serious trouble...
    Any piece of advise is greatly appreciated!

    Regards, Fraser

    Oh, these are the so called USSD messages. Check this:

    Unstructured Supplementary Service Data - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

    Seems that someone hacked a good and cheaper way to send text !!!
    Actually, they are not a sms, so iBlacklist does not deal with it, at least yet. I think i should take a closer look into this in a near future.
