    hmm,

nothing working for me. dont know why. been trying for ages... there is no push for me at the moment.
to receive new emails, i still have to open mobilemail and "download" any new mails from mobileme.
even though i believe i made the correct settings.

any hints and solutions are welcome,

When I tried with mobileme trial account, it worked but it wasn't instant push as I expected. It seemed to take a few minutes to update. Whereas, Exchange is instant, or close to it.
I remember seeing somewhere that on mobileme, changes are pushed up to the 'cloud' instantly, but are only pulled in to the iphone every 15 minutes. Don't quote me on that one though, as I might have misread it.

I ended up ditching my mobileme trial account as it seemed very buggy, wouldn't sync my calendars at all, whereas Exchange has worked flawlessly so far.

Switching back to the $19.99 T-Mobile Total Internet Add-On fixed the push email issue with Yahoo! and MobileMe.

    ok,
it is still not working and i am wondering if my 2.0 is just f****d up.

I am Curious, but if anyone (with working push mail on iphone) could help me, by trying to got to

Settings > Mail, contacts andCalender > mobileme account

and telling me what happens if you switch "E-Mails" from "on" to "off". Do you get that confirmation screen asking you to "stop syncing" or "Cancel"? Because that is what it does with all the other switches (Calender, Contacts etc) if i turn them off. Just the "Emails"-switch doesnt ask for a confirmation...

would be great if anyone could tell me how it is working other 2.0 iPhones (2G).

    thanks,
