Web Development
I know I sound like a maniac, but I would like to know if it is possible to make iphone web-development set (Apache + Php + MySQL). I installed apache and php , but they work separately and I have no idea how connect them, since there is no php module in apache at all... So if anyone could help me with that and maybe anyone would also post MySQL (even old version) to iPhone - it would be the best thing I could ever wish...

So no answer mean there is no way to do it... But there is a BSD subsystem - maybe it's possibe to do it through that..

If you're a maniac, then so am I. I installed Apache and PHP. And there is an implementation of SQLite available as well, which PHP can connect to and which actually makes a lot more sense that MySQL (it would be a hairball to port and take up monstrous amounts of space). While there is no module for PHP, there is a CLI version, which could (theoretically) be used as a CGI. However, there is no documentation on what modules were included in the build of PHP, and for me it's pretty much useless as a dev tool without some kind of database.
Given the recent firmware, I've decided to hold off until Leopard and see if Apple releases an SDK. No sense in spending a bunch of time getting things working only to have it all change completely in a month.
One thing to note - the ip you get while on EDGE is dynamic and internal to the AT&T network. This means your sites won't be available to anyone else but you, unless you tell them your ip address beforehand. Setting up "iphone.yourdomain.com" won't work. And I can tell you from personal experience that web development on the iPhone is painful. The only real utility for Apache-Mysql-PHP on the iPhone is to develop your own offline web apps.
Another thing of note - Ruby is also available, although Rails isn't (yet).
"Are you into S&M?"
"Well...I'm a Red Sox fan. Does that count?"
Go Sox!
