Hi all, the question is simple, till 1.1.3 new user is added: Mobile, that is not a root user, i've tried to su root, it ask for a pwd (alpine or dottie) but always report invalid pwd.

PS: if i log in via SSH -l root x.x.x.x when it ask for the pwd alpine it's ok, then i'm in with root privileges.

Try to change the VT100 app ownership (by using chown) to root (0), it has probably been installed as mobile (501).

chown -R root:wheel /Applications/Term-vt100.app

To switch it back to mobile use this:

chown -R mobile:wheel /Applications/Term-vt100.app

Otherwise you can installa SUID Term Fix from Installer

I've tried everithing, but without succes it keeps tell incorrect password, but via ssh the pwd it's ok (alpine)

drwsrwsrwx 2 root wheel 238 Mar 5 15:32 Terminal.app

If your using cydia, just type in mobile terminal, su, and enter the root password.

As a matter of interest, I had the same problem. I couldn't be arsed playing with permissions, so ssh'd into myself.

( ssh root@127.0.0.1 )

Alternate way...
login -pf root
... then enter your root password.
