So, before I used to have vnsea and it worked great. I would be able to get into my comp no problems and everything was set up. I restored and re-installed the vnsea software but now when I connect, the icons/background is all black/green/purple and it wont go away unless i put something on top of where the blacks spots are (such as the mouse cursor or a window or something etc) but i have also noticed that it is much slower

Try switching to a different VNC server.

Anyone else know? I keep getting the same thing. Only option i have is restoring my phone and then re installing it again. Ill try installing vnsea on my dads iphone and see if that works.

It seems that this happens with any tight vnc. I just tried doing this on my gf's computer but i still get the same thing. Installed tight vnc 1.3.9 but same issue however she is running windows vista

Try realvnc.

I use ultra vnc on vista and it works great. I had problems with tight VNC. Only thing that doesn't work fore me is I have dual monitors and the Iphone vnc client will only show the primary screen. Even if i tell it to show the secondary screen it will not show it.
This is not a big deal though, you just have to be aware of it and make sure that any app you need to use doesn't open on the second monitor.
