[VNSea] connection problems
I'm doing everything correct on the computer, but when i try to add the server info on my iphone, i also do everything correct by putting the IP address followed by the 5900 port, and the password, then clicking save...but after i click save, it doesn't show the desired name leaving me with no choice of connecting. i've tried this many times and still doesn't budge. any help?

I have exactly the same problem - no matter what server details I put in- clicking save just takes me back to a blank VNC servers page. Very strange and annoying - anyone find a fix?

You have Unlocke/jailbroken/activated with iLiberty+ I assume.
There was a version a few weeks back that had a bug in it that caused this. In newer versions this is now fixed.
Either you do it all again with the latest version, or this(copied from iLiberty+'s own bug fixing blog):
Manual Fix: If you don’t wanna install Installer again (with the new patched script), you may enter the following command in shell (through SSH or Term-vt100) to fix the issue manually:
chown -R mobile:mobile /var/mobile/Library/Preferences

Thanks for the advice - I have another question for you though - I have BSD sub installed and open SSH but don't seem to get an icon for it after installing - is that gone wrong somehow? I get a message saying loggin in will take 30 secs withkeys being generated after I install SSH and that's it back to the springboard and no icon.

Thanks theplague, it works exactly the way it should.
bindy, I don't know exactly why it happened, but I just installed BossPrefs (or any other services-like apps) to switch SSH on and off
