Hey yall found this while i was BSing on the internet. Did a quick search of the Forums and didnt see it. I hope everyone enjoys it. I know i will.

VLC Port for iPhone Completed
ZodTTD, creator of GBA, SNES, PSX, and OpenTTD emulators, has successfully ported VLC to the iPhone. VLC is a cross-platform media player which supports many formats - far more than the iPhone's built in media player does.

He's still working on some of the formats, but the beta is up and available to his donating beta testers. Expect a public release sometime in the next week.

but yeah that's a great step towards playing all types of media

Only Zodttd's betas are donation ware as far as I know.
It will be free when it's finished.

Well since vlc is licensed under the gpl, you can post a binary etc for free if you want. Zodd doesn't have the rights to ask you to remove it. Plus if someone already has the software they can request the source code so other people could compile it.

He is responsible for almost all the emulators except for nes.app. I think he deserve a little donation. You can donate as little as 2 dollars
