use preferences.app for you settings?
hi
i was thinking about it. many app use their own setting view, some acceptable, some worse.
how about if you guys make it possible to make the settings for your apps in the preferences.app ?
like the ipod, the phone, safari, etc.
after all, all you need to do is add one .plist file to the preferences.app folder and add one key to the general.plist

Excellent idea, and one I'd like to add my vote of support for. I think there's too much variation in interface among the various third-party apps. I understand that it's still early days, and Apple hasn't even released a "blessed" development environment yet, but I'm worried that apps on the iPhone will turn into the crazy mishmash of interfaces that exist on other phones.

"Well...I'm a Red Sox fan. Does that count?"

exactly my point.
someone made a "guidline for iPhone programming", which is good to read, even thou you dont have to be a programmer.
as progress goes on, i hope the apps are getting better integrated into the iPhone, and make use of its function.
