Hi

Is there a way to open Doc and PDF files for viewing, just like its done in Safari or Mail? I will be away for 3 weeks, and need access to my docs, as I need to give over-the-phone support at times, and all info are in DOCs and PDFs.

I tried the Preview app, but that is only good for pics. However, its connected to Finder, so it plays out very well. A similar solution for DOC or PDF would be really much appreciated.

sorry you're out of luck. Can't be done at the moment unless you email them to yourself and keep a copy of the email. Hopefully one day someone will have a fix but I think it has something to do with the lockdown of the data storage part of the iphone

But how come we can do exactly the same with Pics? If you install the Preview application, you can just use Finder to naviate to a folder, double-tap and surely enough it will open. Cant this be done with DOC?
