Has anyone started work on, or know of any active project in regards to UIKit wrappers for the various high level languages available on the iPhone? Or how about any other iPhone API?

I could care less what specific language the module would be for. I'd even, like, go as far to say id learn Ruby just for this.

The potential would be great. I think it could easily bootstrap a lot of development work in the iPhone space, make extremely rapid application development possible, *insert other obvious benefits here*, bla bla bla.
