So i just downloaded this Vista Perfection 3.5 cr*p just to test it out and see how shiny it really is, and of course i ended up wanting to uninstall it since i though it kinda didn't fit with the iPhone.

In case you don't know, VistaPerfection is not just a regular theme for summerboard. It modifies the system sounds, sliders etc.

So here i am trying to uninstall this thing and half through the process i get the beloved "Main script execution failed" error. No matter what i did, i simply could not remove this thing from my phone.

I ended up downloading Customize and resetting all my settings to default (images etc.) that worked! I got my old sounds and sliders back, but still this Vista thing is lurking in my installer and i want it OUT!!!

So you managed to remove the theme completely right? If you did and you just want to remove the thing in installer that says it is installed if you uninstall it it should just dissappear. If not you have to edit a .plist file. I think it is Localpackages.plist in /Var/Mobile/Library/Installer or it is /Var/Root/Library/Installer

Well yes, but there's also this thing called Control Panel that resembles BossPrefs a lot, and i can't find it in the list either. I guess i'll try what you told me above for the Control Panel thing.

By the way, many people are having this uninstallation problem with this theme. I would personally recommend for people to stay away from it.
