So I installed the terminal app vt100, and it asks me for a username and password I try root as the username, but I have no idea what the password is. Does anyone know the password for the terminal app. Is the username even root? Been trying to guess for awhile now!

i tried user : root and mobile

You have to install the correct terminal app, and make sure BSD sub is installed.

1.0.0 to 1.0.2:
Username: root
Password: dottie

1.1.1 to 1.1.3:
Username: root
Password: alpine

still nothing working for me, although i can ssh to the phone using the root/alpine tried reinstalling the term v100 but still facing the same problem 'login incorrect'

Same problem with me. Still asking for the login and pwd and none of the above works.
