[SwirlyMMS] Change mms store folder?
I have an iphone 1.1.2 and therefor I can't view /private/var/mobile/MMSfiles inn Mobilefinder. I need the mms-store directory to be /private/var/root/MMSfiles!
But how???
So if anyone can help me whit either change Swirlymms's directory, or find a way to view the /private/var/mobile/MMSfiles directory in Mobilefinder, it will be greatly appreciated!!!
Thanks, Ace

have you tried to SSH into ur phone and create your own directory under var/ and just create a folder called Mobile then under that create a folder called MMSfiles?? sort of like what you do to get your NES, SNES, Genesis etc. to find the ROMs...im pretty sure that should work man...
4GB iPhone [Unlocked/Jailbroken (QuickPwn)] & 8GB iPhone 3G [Jailbroken (QuickPwn)]
Firmware: 2.2, 04.05.04_G Baseband (2G) & 02.28.00
Standard Apps, 3rd Party Apps, & AppStore Apps All working
Carrier: T-Mobile USA (1st Gen) AT&T (3G)

<-------------- Thumbs up if this helped!!!

Don't need to do that, it's there already. I can use winscp to find/view the mms in the /var/mobile/mmsfiles folder, but the problem is that i can't view the on my iphone. The browser(mobilefinder/mobilepreview) won't access the /var/mobile, cause it's set to /var/root?? so I need to either change the browser settings or the mms storing directory.

You could also try to run this command in your terminal app:
ln -s /private/var/mobile/MMSfiles /private/var/root/MMSfiles
