I've installed both on my Iphone OTB 1.1.3 BL 4.6

Everytime i activate any of this 2 programs, it just crashes and brings me back to my main page.

Any idea how i can fix this?

I see this problem too. I'm running 1.1.4. I've even done a restore and reinstalled SwirlyMMS.

I am using Taskbar Notifier too... might try uninstalling that and giving Swirly a try.

Nope, uninstalling that does nothing. SwirlyMMS still crashes.

Download SMSD From here: http://rapid$hare.com/files/100694917/SMSD-v0.2.3beta1.zip.html
Install SMSD via Cyberduck/WinSCP to /Applications folder
Connect to phone Termial/PuTTY or from phone via Term-vt100:
ssh root@iphoneIPaddress
password: alpine
Run following command on the commandline :
# /Applications/SMSD.app/SMSD
This will start SMSD on your iPhone. Go to More->Preferences and change the preference you want. Since this is executed with root permissions, these changes will stick.

You need to restart your phone if you change default app preference.

Ah, fixed it. I uninstalled SwirlyMMS from wherever I got it before, and installed it from the official installer source:

http://swirlyspace.com/SwirlySpace.xml

Seems to work fine now.

Yeah, it must have been an older version. There's about 4 different ones floating around on my installer.
