It seems like my iPhone is running very slow after installing sever images via customize.
Is it just my imagination or is it true?
What can I do to make it speed up (like a "clean removal" of both and then just installing summerboard or something)?

What do you mean by running slow?
I didnt see any difference after Im using those apps.

for example it boots up slower...

well, im on iphone 1.1.1 with summerboard, customize, xlaunch, dock and installer and many other apps installed and my iphone works really fast, the only problem i find is in summerboard if dim wallpaper ON, applications crash all the time, but with that option set off, iphone works great, i only hate that when i turn iphone on i need to do a softrestart because iphone summerboard theme and wallpaper dont seem to work until i softrestart it.
