Allright then. There are people (like me) who have problems with Summerboard and FW 1.1.1. Other people think the problem is NOT Summerboard but instead Customize.

Right now I haven't installed either, but I need to put some apps on my springboard so the question is: which application can I use to place more than 16 icons on my iPhone if I don't want to install Summerboard?

Is there anyone using it on 1.1.1 without experiencing any problems?

Im using both on FW 1.1.1 and have no problems. I installed summerboard and it worked fine but wanted to arrange icons so installed Customize and use the rSBT to arrange icons.

only problem I had was needed to launch Customize 4 times before it actually started, strange but now works everytime and saves order of icons and all.

Use customize, just remmember to set the settings in it to 16 icons, otherwise icon order will not work correctly.

Yes, work for me too. But not all the Customize options work for me. For example the Carrier logo settings do not change, the sounds not work, etc. Can anyone have the same problem or only me?

I also have Summerboard and Customize, and it works rather well.

The one thing I miss from the old firmware, is the vertically scrolling springboard. Now summerboard scrolls horizontally.

Is there any way to fix that?

I am having issues making it scroll vertically in the first place. Summerboard does not let me scroll vertically like I could in version 1.0.2.

Also, there isnt a rSBT anymore...

rSBT is now part of Customize. As for the vertical scrolling don't know what to say. I haven't even installed Summerboard and I get to scroll horizontally..... I guess it's a native feature of 1.1.1 ?

I think it shouldnt be default with the Firmware, as there should not be more than 16 icons without any modding. It must be done by the Jailbreak process. I have done mine through jailbreakme.com and I am sure that did it, but I read iNdependence on Mac does it too, provided you use the newer ones.

My question is, would it be possible to change back to Vertical scrolling, at least when we are using Summerboard?
