You installed 13-icons version, right? How many icons do you see on the first page - 12?. That is really strange?!
Regarding the other issue... Blank app is still an app and Springboard runs it when you click on the blank space. Unfortunatelly you cannot change that, unless you decompile/patch the Springboard.

Acutally it was my error....I had the option "skip last page" on summerboard set... I changed that and it looks like the stock imag now.....thnx.....the little draw back is just that the blank app gets run...but like you said that cant be adjusted unless a springboard patch.....thnx.....cool

This was just the thing I was looking for. Previously didn't want to install installer etc. just because not to ruin original layout. This is indeed very good(looking) solution!

Actually, I made folder called apps on my mac and copied apollo from my iPhone, installer and your empty apps into it. Also copied MA68AP.plist from my phone to it.
Now when I have to make full reset to iPhone, I just copy those apps to applications to iPhone and copy MA68AP.plist to its location and I'm all back to original setup with Installer and Apollo and sliding springboard with no hassle.

in front of:

Just cause I don't like the side scrolling that much. I'd like to use a launcher instead.
