SSH Internet Authentication

My school has open WIFI but in order to authenticate on a normal Mac you have to ssh to the server and login to authenticate. How could I do this on the iPhone and keep the session going even after I move to Safari or You Tube?

You have to ask you school net admin to see if there are special permission he needs to enable on the servers and gateways.

No, I just need to run terminal on iPhone and another internet app like Safari at the same time. That's what I need to find out how to do.

How about a web based ssh shell? You can run the ssh shell server on your iphone...Use safari to log log into server for authentication.. Then just open a new safari page (leaving the other page open and running your ssh auth.) while you surf net.. You couldn't use the "iphone youtube" this way, but you could always just just http://m.youtube.com for youtube...

I like the WebShell solution. I've used webshell and it works pretty good.
Another method using a disconnected ssh session is described below.

I keep having the error :

Would anyone be abl to help me with this error? thanks!

EDIT1: Ok got those errors figured out, but it says it cannot start without open ssl, do i need this to authenticate? *For future reference had to put all the SSH files from the SSH file, found here: http://iphone.fiveforty.net/wiki/index.php/Webshell

EDIT2: Ok got it to work, just wrote the .plist script and loaded it. I can get to log on screen, weird.
