What is your computer's system ?
Yes i have Term-VT100 installed but it doesent let me login, i put login and password but it just keeps telling me to put it in again.
Yes i have Boss-prefs installed, i have tried to "fix" the permissions thing with it if that is what you mean and yes i turn SSH on when im trying to login to it.
Im on windows xp.
It might me usefull to know that i jailbroke and unlocked with iplus but it failed to install installer app so i jailbroke with ziphone again to get installer on the phone.

The fix only delete 2 folders (temp and caches own by Installer only) and change the permissions/ownership of Installer.app
You have probably installed BSD with a buggy Installer and the fix has just revealed this.
Read the previous posts, many user are having issues with BSD because chmod and chown dependencies permissions (Dynamic libraries) are not correctly setup and symlinked.
So before accusing the Installer fix, please read and learn a little about BSD commands and the Terminal.
i can't even enter those commands in the first post. it won't let me in via ssh/putty and in term-vt100 (on the phone) i can't enter anything. the only thing thing term-vt100 says is
"last login: Mon May 19 15:20:38 on ttyp0
dyld: Library not loaded: libarmfp.dylib
Referenced from: /bin/sh
Reason: image not found
[Process completed]"
and it won't let me type anything....

Unfortunately, your BSD Subsystem is broken, that's why you get the infamous "dyld: Library not loaded: libarmfp.dylib" error.
This Dynamic Library doesn't load because it has not the right permissions/ownership.
In your situation a restore is the only solution, except if Installer accepts to install the SUID and Terminal Fix, but i highly doubt it will.

If your 3.1 is broken, updating to 3.11 won't solve the problem (lucky if you can update)

My installer just crashes whenever I try to install something, I tried the fix but it didnt work, I also tried changing the permissions. Nothig worked, any idea?

i dont know anything about ssh and that sort of things and commands, but i have the same libarmfp.dylib issue... what i did is using Cyberduck (osx) or winscp (win) i went to /usr/lib/ and rename the old libarmfp.dylib and upload one i had from another iphone. After that ssh started working again so i could change the permisions by chmod 755 /usr/lib/libarmfp.dylib after that the iphone survived. Anyway i cant still update to installer 3.11 and i do not install xianli patch because in installer is says "MODIFIYING DO NOT INSTALL" probably after that message dissapears i will try it but at least i avoid restoring.
By the way while connecting via sftp user:root pass:alpine
if you want i may mail you the libarmfp.dylib i used...
best!

You don't need to send it, just follow the instructions in the post #68 page 7 of this thread.

I had the same problems as yours before. Broken SSH, Terminal can't execute, BSD System Package install failed.....after installed the 'installer 3.1 fix'.
Fortunately, I can install the AFP with Bonjour from the CopyCoders repos and activate the AFP. Later on I replaced the chown and chmod and libarmfp.dylib via AFP and everything back to normal. Today I can update the installer to 3.1.1 without any problems.
Hope can help.
PS: I tried to run 3 times 'Installer 3.1 fix' afterwards from the iClarified repos for testing, and it corrupts the libarmfp.dylib each time after installing the fix (it changed to symbolic link with correct permissions but can't point to the original file) ! I had to replace from the real file via AFP to fix the problem.
