[SMSD] won't start on 1.1.4

can someone tell me how to install smsd in 1.1.4....i installed it but when i open the program it closes automatically. Thanks

Did you check permissions? They should be 0755

Log in using ssh and delete the following folders:

/var/root/Library/AddressBook/
/var/root/Library/CallHistory/
/var/root/Library/SMS/

Then execute the following commands:
ln -s /var/mobile/Library/AddressBook /var/root/Library/
ln -s /var/mobile/Library/CallHistory /var/root/Library/
ln -s /var/mobile/Library/SMS /var/root/Library/

works for me.

I had a problem with smsd, both the GF and I have iphones both on 1.1.4, I ziphoned mine and put the bootloader back to 4.6 with bootneuter and mine works fine. GF's iphone pwned 3.9 bootloader as its originally a 1.1.1 otb, and hers dont work, go figure. Simple fix, I stuck her on isms.
