[SMS] open very slow on 1.1.3

Please help. After upgrading to 1.1.3 I have to wait about 10seconds each time I want to open SMS application. Also switching through smses takes some time. Do you know the problem? Deleting all SMSs doesn't help.

I am assuming the affected phones are either 1.1.3 or 1.1.4 with the AppSupport patch installed. The slowdown is caused by the patch.

Replace *ONLY* the patched AppSupport file with the one here. Do not remove the AppSupport.original file or Support folder. Reboot the phone.

SMS should work much faster now.

The slow SMS issue is caused by the AppSupport file. There are too many countries inside. There are 2 ways you can go about:
1. Move your country to the top of the list OR
2. Delete everything else and leave your country only.

The sms then should not take more than 2 - 3 seconds to load. Rep me

I actually tried that prior to finding the 'patched' patch. I deleted all the other countries except mine in the text file in the Support folder but that didn't fix the slowness.

This file looks like encoded- there is no easy way to move your country at the top of your list.
Please help, I have to wait 10 seconds before starting writing smses
