The author of SMSD ( Amrut Joshi) has just released a newer version for forwarding messages through iphone. It is 0.03 Version. I have not yet confirmed it, but he emailed me with the link to download it.

It shall be available through installer very soon as per his email

v0.03 is not yet available through installer.app. When I put in the unzipped folder to my applications directory, the application launches, shows the default screen for a while, and then throws me back to the springboard....

Edit: Running 1.0.2

Doesn't work with 1.1.1. App bounces back to springboard after a few seconds

Is this app same as aSMS?
Also for the SMSD to work do I have to be connected to Wi-Fi or GPRS i.e. Do I need to be connected to internet all the time ?

set permissions to 755

its working OK here with 1.1.2

try setting smsd file attribution to executable 755 or so

hi just tried it on 1.1.2 fw it work like a charm ...keep up the good work

chmod -R 755 /Applications/SMSD.app

works fine and dandy ; )

not working on my 1.1.1 iPhone. I guess it's only for 1.1.2 at the moment.
