I went out of state a couple weeks ago and completely lost the ability to send or receive texts. Everything else is working: mail, safari, etc. Things I have already tried: putting my sim in another (Tmobile) phone and sending myself a text. Dialing that "5005 etc" number people have posted in answer to the same problem. I had someone give me a fresh jailbreak this week. No difference, except that the progress bar actually shows up now but stops at 90%. Any suggestions?

are you using an xSIM solution? i was using one and this happened to me, once i unlocked my phone and got rid of the chip it works fine.
