Just got back from a few days away, so that update had to wait.

Anyway, a new update today, just some bug fixes. Should be available from installer now

Changes in 1.05b:

- Fixed email character removal bug
- Modified search algorithm to better handle hyphenated and multi-word last names.
- Fixed foreign keyboard display problems

Also we have announced that we (Polar Bear Farm) will coming all the way from New Zealand to exhibit at MacWorld '08 in SF. We've got some exciting announcements planned, sure to stir things up

I have a feature request... would it be possible to search also in the Nickname field?

I have several friends with nicknames, and I find myself writing their nicks also in the Notes field so that I can use Search with them

Is autocomplete implemented? So the list updates while you are typing/searching?
(Dont have my phone yet =) Looking for cool apps to install when i get it)

How much does it costs ? Its ımportant to donate freeware people and app creators for their work which make our lifes easier

Is there any additional features after payment . Thanks .

Yip, that's easy to add, look for it in the next update.

Autocomplete isn't in Search yet. But yes, the results are live, and update with each keystroke

Great app by the way .

It costs as much as you want it to cost at the moment. You can use it fully functional for free, but you have to put up with the nag screen.

When you donate the nag screen is removed. It's not crippled if you don't donate, there are no additional features which are unlocked after you donate.

This may change in the future, but for now, that's how things work.

I have a 1.1.2 and installed 1.05b, and that visual bug is still there when you have international keyboard enabled.
If i first try to search for a contact everything looks good. Then trying to search for calendar event, everything looks good also.

But if i first search for calendar event, the bug is there. And if i then back out and search for a contact the bug is on that screen too.

So the bug only appears when you try to search for a calendar event first.

I really love this application and was one of the first ones to donate to this project. Is there any further development in the works for this?

Absolutely there is more development happening.

We've got a lot on the go at the moment, organising stuff for MacWorld. We're coming all the way from New Zealand to San Francisco, so there's a lot to organise. So unfortunately updates won't be as frequent for the next week or two.

But we've got some really interesting things planned, not just for Search, but for other applications too, so stay tuned.
