in the zip file there is a folder called "__MACOSX" thats not needed for the app to work in the phone, I think you should remove it

Thanks for the suggestions peu, I was unaware of the extra folder in there, must be visible in windows, but not OS X, i'll fix it thanks.

i virginized my phone last night and am back up and running again

you want suggestions for the App?:

Search entire iPhone (and user can select to choose just to search Music, Photos and Emails/SMS's - OR - also search system files and take you there in finder

) - also search contacts on SIM

suggestion... when searching contact, one should be able to search by company name or any other field

It currently matches data in the first name, last name, and organisation fields.

But others have requested it search some of the other available fields too, this should be added in the next release.

Just out of interest, does anyone know how to get this included in Installer.app repository's to allow easy update distribution?

Well, it could have protential... but with the current start delays still there when loading and the nag screen, I don't think I'd really use it!

great tool. Would it be possible that you add it to the AppTapp Installer Sources, so that installation and updating would be easier?

Also on small problem i noticed:
Contacts with umlauts in their names (e.g. ä ü ö) are displayed garbled.

I was just talking to my boss about this, he wants an iPhone, but didn't like the fact that it doesn't search for contacts like his Nokia communicator...

Yeah i'm trying to figure out how to get it packaged and listed on Installer.app but i've got no clue how that works or who really to contact. If anyone could help out there that would be great.

Also, as mentioned, there are issues with unicode characters, i'm working on fixing that.
