[Ringtones] New app to convert your mp3 in ringtones directly in your iPhone

Well I had this problem a few days ago. I finally worked out that it doesn't work on any Apple bought songs (DRM) or any song that isn't in AAC format.
I had a MP3 that didn't work, so converted to AAC. quick converted it to a ringtone, turned the iPhone off and on after conversion, hey presto it was located in my standard Ringtones and worked great for me.... hope thats helpful..?

Well my situation is weird because it used to work sweet and then I updated it to a newer version and the encoder thing got screwed and now I have uninstalled and reinstalled many times and it still wont fix it. It doesnt do the whole "This is the first time loading please wait" thing anymore....Damn encoder...

when i reinstalled mine i got "MAIN SCRIPT EXECUTION FAILED ERROR!". When i was browsing through my MobileFinder i saw Rintones.app there and it worked when i launched it from there and it is now on my springboard but the application is not in my Installer uninstall tab. thats just weird but its working.

Hey Skrew,

For the update this weekend could you add these 3 things:

1. Make the Sanity check an option to perform only if you think you need it (obviously it has to happen the first time but it seems to take a while to complete now and I dont want it to happen everytime I start the app)

2. Make it so if the Sanity check finds an error such as a faulty encoder, it gives you the option to automatically fix it.

3. Make it work without using bosstools.

uninstall, refresh install source, and reinstall ... tell me if it ok for encoder now

everytime, I tried to install version 2.74, it gives the following error:
Package download failed.

any idea what to do?

Did you move your applications file with Bosstool? Maybe that will help? I dunno...
Check his Forum on his website http://i.danstaface.net and maybe someone has the same problem. Good luck.
