Hi all,
I have a request for anyone who is familiar with programming apps for the iPhone. In Europe we use MMS a lot and i really miss this feature on the iPhone.

When someone sends me a MMS the iPhone just ignores it and I'm not notified at all. On old phones with no mms feature, I get a SMS som my serviceprovider with a link to the mms on their server when someone sends me a MMS. I would be happy even with that solution.

Has someone looked into MMS and how its working?
If someone could figure out how to receive and send MMS's I it would be great!
I can provide info on howto encode / decode MMS messages.

wow what an idea!! Do you realise you are the first person to request that, and even offer help. Thanks for the link, those super secret MMS informations are amazing, I had never seen that site before.

With my leet VB codin skillz I will do one this afternoon.

What is your problem?
So, I searched the forum, found no answer or status of the progress on mms.
Then I try start something to get people involved, and all I get is your BS?

How did you search on MMS? It's below the min number of characters on this site's search engine. How the fark do I do a real search on this site?

You can do a search like "send receive mms" (without quotes) which will show you some relevant answers.

No. It ignores the "mms" so it's the same as if you did a search on just "send receive".

You're right, it was "multimedia message" i searched for, sorry about that.

yeah, I would say this is probably one, if not the most legitimate problem of the Iphone, I wish I knew how to do it, but I only code at a 5th grade reading level, sorry guys

(All I know is that usually when someone makes an f-ing awesome app, they are usually worshipped by us lesser nerds, so you know, there's some payback for those who put all that time and effort in these apps)
