I belive that visual voicemail is a trademarked app of AT&T. However if some one hacked it or made a one off that is tech. legal then that's a diff. story....

just dont use the name... the technology and actual experience already existed before, so it isnt patented afaik...

an idea: seeing as there are quite a few "visual voicemail" providers in the us (that send your voicemail via MP3 to your e-mail), and using some of the plugins it oculd be able to listen to those straight from your email...

only works if there is such service in your country...
