Is there any aplications to use the iphone as a usb storage?

Somthing that you conect the iphone by USB, run it and apear a windows similar than windows explorer.

Somthing let you tu copy files from your friend computer, or university compiter without have programs in that computer.

All types of files like documents, images, music, etc. I don´t want to my iphone opens it, only want to carrier it

But iphone browser is a program you have to install in you computer?

Im looking for something you install in the iPhone and you can use on computers without any program

Go my vote.

A program u can install from installer>Run the App>Connect usb to any pc>Bang 8gb usb storage

USB would be nice, but you can use MNPlight (http://movenplay.gforge.inria.fr/) to do this on every wlan. It's like a basic winSCP.

- start MNPlight on your iPhone
- http://"your ip":2007 will show the login screen (login & password to bet set at MNPlight>Preferences)
- now files, playlists, contacts, photos, ... can be accessed AND you can upload or download any file!

IF you install samba on iphone you can access it thru the network like any other Windows machine.

what MCHuertas is saying that an application that can make the iphone work as a USB mass storage device. That means just carry your iphone with the USB cable to a friend, plug in it into his computer and bang the iphone is detected as a storage disk.

There should be no need to install any kind of software on your friends computer.

Such an applicaiton exists for HTC Touch phone. I have no development experience. some one should try to port it for iphone.
