[Req] Torrent Client or a News (NZB) Client
Does anyone know if there are any 3rd party app(s) yet that are either a Torrent Client or a News (NZB) Client, one that connects to a news service, like giganews.com and downloads using .nzb files instead of .torrent files. Or if there arent any yet, does anyone know of any in the works? Anyway the reason I ask, is i'd really like an app todo this, either using torrents or nzbs, preferably a news nzb client as its faster. Every month here, we go over our isp's monthly download limit and it would be nice to say have my iphone sitting in my pocket downloading my tv shows while im somewhere with free wifi and saving them to the 8gb free space on my iphone. I know it wont be able to play them, I just want it to download them to the 8gb free space and then when I get home later ill simply copy the downloaded files off onto my computer and watch them there and in turn saving my monthly bandwidth.
Wouldnt anyone else love something like this?

Yes,
Personally, I think both a Torrent and a Usenet client are interesting ideas (ones that I've mused over myself quite a bit).
The biggest problem with implementing applications like these are to do with the limited space on the iPhones. I routinely walk around with less than 300MB free - far too small to download even a single TV programme really. I have no concept of what the average free space is that people walk around with on their iPhones, but I would guess that people would fill their little devices right up to the brim (like I do).
Even if we were to assume that people would change their habits, and leave a couple of Gig free at all times, I personally think there is limited value in being able to download to the phone but not actually use what you've downloaded without tethering yourself back to your computer. Any BT application would have to be able to put the content in the right place for the iPhone to be able to use it - and I guess this is a problem in itself to solve.
My 2p's worth.

First, that post was made months ago.
