Can someone please advice me of a skype client for iPhone or help in making one? I have searched here and numberous other sites but without any luck! Please help:hack:

you can try Fring as a Native app that works as a portal node for multiple VoIP and IM clients including Skype.

Alternative you can try the IM web app that seamlessly bridge to Skype, on iSpazio repository they have provided a webclip that gets installed on your iphone. The app goes under iSkype name.

Im a big fring fan, the only thing im not to keen on is how warm the iphone gets when your makin a call over skype.

So far.. Fring is the Best Skype client. But the official Skype software is ready by Skype Inc. and will be in AppStore in June.

fring is the best effort to date, but still unusable for voip calls in my book. The 3-second delay (via fast Wifi) in voice when I speak makes having a decent conversation IMPOSSIBLE. When they improve this (0-sec delay) it will be much better.

It is more like a proof of concept rather than something I can use every day.

Really - is this speculation or have you heard something??????

Skype is very reliable and this would be a godsend for me!!
