Hi all,

Symbian phones can run Java apps, Windown Mobile has a MIDlet Manager but iPhone cant run apps in any ways

So an App that can allow users to download and add .jar applications and manage & run them would be great.
Cydia can be used a a pre-req. as it can enable Java platform.


Please make an app to run .jar MIDlets on the :iphone:

when it comes to java nobody will reply.Midp was my first demand since long time but I doubt that iPhone's hardware supports that.my iPhone is full of crap appliations which I don't even need and never use but when it comes to usefull applications evrybody will point you at the Sdk which I'm sure will never come with anything important.too bad that such a beautiful device as the iPhone is lacks so many important features.

Dosent even open on my PC !!!

iPhone actually has a working jvm (available via Cydia)...it just lacks Swing and AWT and the J2ME specific libraries.
