Here are the facts:
- Apple has records of which iPhones have been activated through AT&T. They can bring up this information based on your serial number or phone number AT THE STORE or OVER THE PHONE
lol.. on it
soo does anyone else know of any features a thing like this could have so i can put it all in one nice req for STE
I wonder if that's possible. I have not been able to set executable permissions via the USB connection (with interfaces like iPhoneBrowser and iPhoneList). It might mean that Installer itself needs to be modified to do some of the work.

So refreshing the lists would still require Installer on an iPhone with a wireless connection (or some smart programming to make your computer look like an iPhone).
Suggestion for the interface (if it's possible): sort applications in different ways (by repository, by Source, by creator, by date of creation); search applications (by words in description/name).

iPhone 3GS / 3.1.2 JB (PwnageTool) / 04.26.08 carrier-locked, Carrier Logo Fixer / Cydia / 1000 posts on Hackint0sh
Installing Cydia programs on a phone that has no internet connection: read this.
Editing binary .plist, .strings, .nib and .xib files:
* on your computer: Windows tool / conversion website.
* on your iPhone: convert those files in a terminal with plutil (installed with Erica Utilities) or edit them with iFile (Cydia links).
i think there might be a way to tell the installer on the phone to do the premissions thing
cuz thats wht the PXL daemon does in junction with ibrickr
ok ill send em an email n see wht turns up
