i have a idear to make the iphone in to a remote for say like TV,hifi, light switches or so,
i dont no if this has been looked in to. just thoght about it today wile looking for my all in one remote.

as i have a remote for my TV, Sky,dvd player, HIFI and lights in the same unit.

it just would be nice to use the Iphone as a remote for the TV, i guess it will need some HW installed on or in the iphone befor this can be done.

well i dont no if this can be done but would be cool.

would like to hear what others have to say on this matter.

I'v been thinking about the same idea for sometimes. I'm using my iPhone with Remote Boddy to control EyeTv, iTunes.. and it would be great if I could control all my audio/video setup, as can do now with Logitech Harmony 1000 - its so dam slow compare with Remote Buddy on the iphone!

just had a class idear now. can make a bluetooth link to something that can cantol likes of TV and so on. that way no HW has to be installed to the iphone.

wich means u can simlpy place the unit in a room or on the TV its self.
agen just a idear.

this might be a bit tuff to do. was niver good at programing as u can prob see with my spelling
