you are serously asking to run a dynamic dns adress pointing to your iphones IP Adress, right?

I suggest you look at perl and check one of the free updater tools that are there e.g. for dyndns... like ddclient. Although I am not familiar with the perl implementation for the iphone and if all required modules are there, this might be a path to follow.

Personally I run ddclient on my gentoo box and it works perfectly.
