About LinkBacksOK, you need to connect to itunes and restore to 1.1.4, you need to get into DFU mode first though. YOU WILL LOSE ALL DATA ON YOUR IPOD, BUT I'M GUESSING THAT WON'T BE A PROBLEM

what is DFU mode? Will I be able to put all my songs back on my iPod after I do this?

DFU mode is to do a deep restore of firmware.
Yes you will be able to put all your songs back on afterwards.
Did you get ZiPhone?

yes you can resync it after you restore to 1.1.4 also to go to dfu hold the home an power button while its connected to iTunes till the screen goes blank then let go of the power till iTunes says its in dfu

OK. One of the options in ZiPhone is to get into DFU mode, that is what you want to do, but not just yet.

Ok so I hold the power and home button to go to dfu before or while I am updating to1.14?

Before, but it will be easier to let ZiPhone put it into DFU. Open it up and click on advanced features.
