[Req] Diabetes management software
As a diabetic, I use my iPhone to record blood sugar levels. Unfortunately I do so through a normal web site, SugarStats.com. It works fairly well, but an iPhone interface would be a great addition.
Or, better yet, a simplified iPhone app that records blood sugars (along with time and date stamps), medications/insulin shots, daily notes, testing notes, etc. You could use the power of the iPhone to create charts from the recorded data and send that data to a web site (maybe upload to a site like SugarStats or a brand new site) and/or email to the doctor's office.
I've thought about this for years - since I had my first BlackBerry - but I not a programmer and have not succeeded in searching around for an existing program.
Any thoughts?

sounds interesting. I'd recommending posting on some the big diabetes organizations - if they have forums. You might find another diabetic who is a programmer who would take up the cause.

Here are some screen shots for SugarTracker: http://blog.goo.ne.jp/spanske_stol/e...28d4daee7cf8e6 . It is on BigBoss' repo in Installer.
Please give me some rep (thumbs up) if this was useful!

I am on a vegetarian diet for my cholesterol levels what were 270. I am trying to lose about three pounds within the next 3 weeks. I am seeing a specialist doctor. I need to lose about forty pounds. My question is apart from losing weight and exercising/diet would it lower my levels considerably if I follow a vegetarian diet within the next month or more? If my cholesterol lowers considerably then that is good for me. Is there any further suggestion?

Has this issue yet been sorted? I've been searching this morning for something and not finding a thing which relates to tracking BGL on the iPhone... Checking the link given, it looks very much as if the software has not been updated for iPhone v2x ...

Not free, but I use Diamedic from the App Store. It's a great piece of software and is regularly updated with new features. Tracks BG levels, insulin shots, carbs, hba1c etc. I've been using it for several months now
