I prefer an automatic EQ based on genre.

some of my files have a lower volume than others. It would be neat to be able to increase that after maxing out your normal volume settings

I wish we can just have a 5-12 channel custom equalizer, but of course apple will never incorporate that idea, maybe the dev's can get it done

like rockbox for the iphone heh

Keep in mind that Apple doesn't give out freebies. They always have their golden compass on hands wherever they go.

i wish, i have some shure se530s and i just dont get what i want to hear from the current EQ, i would donate!

THAT would be the golden Compass for Apple, espacially for the iPhone. That Equalizer in Widescreen would be genius in a way...
