Not sure about it, I'm trying to get the toolchain installed, and I have downloaded the specs for the accelerometer and some code to poll it - but from here there is still a long way.

At first I need to see if I can poll the accelerometer properly and to see if I can get som valid data from it. Then I need to see if I can log this to a local file. If - and only if - these two things go well, I can start to improve on it.

ok got the toolchain installed just fine on my Leopard - next step..

No need to reinvent the plate.. Does that app log the data to a comma seperated file?

EDIT: just saw that a version that will log to a file costs 199 Euro..

Think I just keep on reinventing then..

nope, because it is commercial, non-open software, so you cant use the code... but it should be fairly easy to duplicate, since there are free sample codes about polling the accelerometer...

so then pkanders can you copy the code to make the app? cause in that code it says how to log the data....
