[Release] Neverlock + BossPrefs Autolock Toggle Tools
Introducing Neverlock a simple daemon that checks for wheather or not you have SSH enabled and automatically switches ON/OFF the autolock. When SSH is off it selects the 1min autolock duration.
It can be used without BossPreffs but I highly recomend having them so you can also turn ON/OFF the daemon for using personal autolock settings other than 1min/NEVER
Tested and works without issues on 1.1.3 1.1.4
To install just place each file on the directory you see on the archive structure AND MAKE SURE all have 0755 permissions.
I am waiting for impressions...
Thanks BigBoss for his Bossprefs app and Erica Sadun for her utilities..
Just Added a new script that manually toggles Autolock From BossPrefs for those not wanting to have a daemon Running. Also Latest installer Repo here. They are both under Utilities Section
No known Issues.
V2 NO longer needs the Soft Restart. Its so smooth you will forget its running
Special Thanks to hartsteins for his tip.

Reason: Updated Version 2
Thank you good work.Loved this app
Doctor of the all iPhone'S
great app !
but, its a daemon.. always runnning right?
can you just add to bossprefs an "off/on" for auto-lock,
without the SSH check?
Tried too but for some reason BossPrefs did not work with plutil at all. That is why i went the long way home.
Besides you can shut it down if you are away from power and in dire need of energy even though in my testing there was no diference in battery consumption. All it does is grep when you keep SSH in a stable condition which is not that complex thing or memory consuming.
Currently working on an installer repo but googlecode is giving me hell....
Working on 1.1.3 1.1.4 only

Is this so just incase you somehow brick your iphone while its locked and then cant fix it? Maybe you could use the iPhone PC Suite or iPhone Browser?
The Guy Above Me is Touching My Special Place!
Just Bumping it since I updated with another tool and did not want to create new Release Topic. Thanks
Nice. One question.
If I want to set it autolock to 5min when there is no SSH connection.
Do I edit in neverlock.sh
/usr/bin/plutil -v 60 -i SBAutoLockTime /private/var/mobile/Library/Preferences/com.apple.springboard.plist
change the 60 to 300?
Thanks for this great daemon
Yes Change it to the value you want in seconds. It should also work with not default values like 90=1,5mins but not tested yet.
